By using POWALIFTA you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
The service
POWALIFTA is a software platform for powerlifting coaches and athletes to plan training, log sets, and track progress. We provide the tool. We do not provide coaching, medical advice, training advice, or supervision.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share credentials. Don't impersonate other people. One person per account.
Health & safety disclaimer
Lifting heavy weights carries risk. POWALIFTA is a logging and planning tool — it doesn't know your medical history, your form, or your readiness. Programs created by coaches on POWALIFTA are between you and that coach. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or health outcomes resulting from training. Consult a doctor before starting a strength program if you have any medical condition.
Coach-athlete relationships
Coaches who use POWALIFTA to program for athletes are independent providers. POWALIFTA is not a party to any coaching agreement, payment, or training plan. Disputes between coaches and athletes are between those parties — we provide tools, not arbitration.
Acceptable use
Don't use POWALIFTA to harass others, post abusive content, attempt to break the service, scrape user data, or anything illegal. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Payments (coaches)
Paid coach plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record — by purchasing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms and privacy policy, and they handle applicable sales tax/VAT. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds outside of statutory rights are at our discretion — see "Refunds" below.
Marketplace purchases
The POWALIFTA marketplace lets coaches sell training programs to athletes. POWALIFTA acts as the platform; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for each sale. Programs are digital goods delivered to your account immediately on purchase. By purchasing, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, where applicable under EU/UK consumer law, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. Program quality and content are the responsibility of the coach who created them; we review submissions before listing and will act in good faith to resolve disputes, but we are not a party to the coaching relationship.
Refunds
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law (including EU and UK consumer law). Outside of those rights: subscription periods already started are not prorated on cancellation, and marketplace purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered. If something is genuinely broken — you paid and didn't receive the program, or were double-charged — email us and we'll make it right.
Content takedowns
If you believe content on the marketplace infringes your intellectual property, email powalifta1320@gmail.com with the listing link and a description of the work infringed. We'll review and, where appropriate, remove the listing and notify the coach.
Availability
We work hard to keep POWALIFTA up, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any specific time. Planned maintenance and the occasional bug happen.
Your content
You retain ownership of programs, notes, and other content you create on POWALIFTA. By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process this content as needed to provide the service. You can delete it any time.
Liability
POWALIFTA is provided "as is" without warranty. We're a small project. Our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or zero, if you're on a free plan). This applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Termination
You can delete your account any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We'll give reasonable notice except where security or law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify users with active accounts by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which POWALIFTA's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction — except where the consumer protection law of your country of residence grants you non-waivable rights or venue.
